You Don’t Have to Eat Sugar Filled Junk This Holiday Season!
These easy to make protein balls are a delicious and filling alternative to sugary rum balls.
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 c walnuts
1/2 c sunflower seeds
1/2 c hemp hearts
1/4 nut butter of any kind (except peanut)
1/4 c cacao powder
1 ¾ c of pitted dates
1 t cinnamon
1/2 c coconut flakes
INSTRUCTIONS:
Process the walnuts, sunflower seeds, hemp, cacao and cinnamon in food processor.
Then add dates and nut butter and process
(add almond milk or water to smooth the consistency if needed).
Process into a thick consistency so that you can form into balls or bars.
If you like, you can then
lightly roll the balls in coconut flakes for added texture and flavor
